Glendale Sweeps ’17 WSC Group Titles; GC’s Lopez & Oxnard’s Valencia Win Particular person Titles

Bakersfield, CA - For the 13th time in program historical past, the Glendale School Ladies's and Males's Cross Nation staff's swept the group championships on the 2017 Western State Convention Cross Nation Championships at Kern County Soccer Complicated in Bakersfield School. Six of the seven ladies's scorers and 5 out of the seven males's scorers posted Prime 20 finishes for the Vaqueros. People Glendale's Raymond Lopez gained the person crown, whereas Oxnard School's Briana Valencia gained the ladies's crown.

As a group, the Vaqueros completed with 42 factors, besting Ventura School's 86 factors. Their common ending time was 20:52, and Glendale posted a complete time of 1:44.20.

The next staff's and people certified for the 2017 Southern California Championships will happen at Central Park in Santa Clarita.
