BEVERLY HILLS (CBSLA.com) — A woman was in custody Tuesday after taking Los Angeles police on a slow-speed pursuit through West Los Angeles.
The incident started around 1 p.m. after officers attempted to pull over a female driver on suspicion of DUI on eastbound Wilshire Boulevard near Beverly Glen, officials said.
The woman failed to yield and a slow-speed pursuit ensued. Spike strips were deployed, and the SUV came to stop on Wilshire at Tower Drive in Beverly Hills.
After a brief standoff, officers were able to pull the suspect of the vehicle.
